K-12 Students Program

The school year program is a 40-week course that is designed for students in school. In the school year program, students will have opportunities in performing at recitals, studying about composers, and completing their 30/40 pieces challenge.
Students who would like extra challenge may sign up for festivals, competitions, and piano exams (Certificate of Merit, and Royal Conservatory of Music).
Lesson is offered at Ms. Petrina's home studio at Chino. Students may enjoy playing and learning with a grand piano.

Online Lessons (K-12)

Online Lessons for students who are still in K-12 that would like to receive lessons in the comforts of their own home, or who locate very far from Ms. Petrina. 
The structure of the online lessons is very similar to one-on-one lessons. There will be 40 Lessons year round. 
Virtual Recital options are available for students who cannot physically attend our annual recital.
Students who would like extra challenge may participate at their local festivals, competitions, and piano exams (Certificate of Merit for LA & OC Students in California, & Royal Conservatory of Music in USA & Canada, & ABRSM nationwide).

Tuition

Tuition includes the below services:

  • Time spent with the student during lessons and recital

  • Time spent in preparation for the student:

    • Lesson planning, bookkeeping, development of curriculum, research and preparing teaching materials

    • Detailed practice plan sent to student after each lesson.

    • Time outside lesson when correcting student's homework and giving feedback to recorded performances.

  • Other studio expenses (Teaching software and hardware, instrument maintenance, admin and business costs)

  • Required government taxes, licenses and insurances

The Tuition does not include:

  • Music books and materials

  • Festival, competition, and piano exam fees

  • Recital Registration Fee
